Pixacom: Where were you born, and how was life growing up?
Amanda Olson: I was born in a very small town in southern Missouri. My life growing up had many ups & downs. I come from a very small family and we had our share of issues.

Pixacom: What nationality are you?
Amanda Olson: I am actually part Swedish & Norwegian.

Pixacom: What would the average person say about you?
Amanda Olson: The average person who actually got to know me would definitely say I am very down to earth & easy to talk to. I would say the number one thing I hear a lot from people after they get to know me a little is, "Wow, I feel like I have known you forever." I think thats a pretty good quality. I will pretty much talk to anyone about mostly anything. ;)

Pixacom: What kind of stuff did you get into after high school?
Amanda Olson: HaHa .. ummmmm ... what do I want everyone to know?? Just kidding. I went on to college and did my share of partying. Then I went on to become a Division Manager in the Financial Industry. And for the past 4 years I have been modeling and am currently working on recording a few songs. Stay tuned!!!!

Pixacom: How did you get into modeling?
Amanda Olson: When I was younger I use to compete in beauty pageants so I guess you cold say thats where it started. But I actually always wanted to be a singer. I guess I just have always had a certain attraction for the stage, the camera, leadership roles, etc. That's just where I feel comfortable.

Pixacom: How long have you been modeling?
Amanda Olson: Almost 4 years now. - Wow, how time flys!

Pixacom: Have you done any Nude modeling?
Amanda Olson: Nope.

Pixacom: How did you feel being in front of the camera for the first time?
Amanda Olson: I loved it! It's kinda like when you are a little girl and you play dress up and all that jazz but for real .. lol

Pixacom: How did you feel walking into your photoshoot?
Amanda Olson: Actually, my first photo shoot was spontaneous so I was walking in not even intending to shoot that day.

Pixacom: Would you say you are pretty comfortable with your body?
Amanda Olson: Yes.

Pixacom: What would you say is your best feature?
Amanda Olson: I think it's pretty obvious! .. My personality! :) lol

Pixacom: Are you enhanced with Plastic Sugery?
Amanda Olson: nope! 100% all natural

Pixacom: What’s the best thing about being a model?
Amanda Olson: All the amazing people you get to meet and friends you make. I have met some of my best friends through traveling and working different events.

Pixacom: What do you do differently to set yourself apart from other models?
Amanda Olson: I keep myself very grounded and humble. I always am there to help another model or give advice if someone ask. I think what goes around comes around. And there is nothing good can come from being bitter or negative. I treat others how I would want to be treated.

Pixacom: Any highlights in your modeling career?
Amanda Olson: oh yeah - I would say when I won Miss NOPI National Swimsuit Championships in 2006 and then a 2nd year in a row, in 2007, was a huge honor. So many gorgeous girls go out for that and to win once was a big deal but twice in a row is an unbelievable honor!

Pixacom: Where can we find you on a typical weekend, if you aren't doing a photoshoot?
Amanda Olson: haha .. at home. Really, I am a nerd. My life is so busy and crazy with traveling here in there so when I get a weekend to myself I just like to relax and keep it low key.

Pixacom: What do you want to do outside of modeling?
Amanda Olson: Like I mentioned earlier, right now I am looking to take my carer to the next level and am currently recording a couple songs. Ever since I was a little girl I always wanted to be a singer.

Pixacom: What is the coolest thing a fan has ever done for you?
Amanda Olson: I actually have one fan that comes to every event I do .. no matter how far away it is.. and I must say that's pretty cool.

Pixacom: Any photographers you enjoy working with or hope to work with?
Amanda Olson: Yes! I always enjoy shooting with Brent Allen (Brent Allen Photography), Rich Markese (Markese Photography), Steve Garnett (Solique Photography), Bobby Black, and Mike Byerly. We always nail amazing shots!

Pixacom: Which ineternet websites would you say you spend most of your time at?
Amanda Olson: I am practically married to my computer .. or I guess actually the internet .. between my iPhone and my Macbook, I am on there way to much. I spend all my time in my email, www.AmandaOlsonOnline.com, www.MySpace.com, www.Facebook.com, www.ModelMayhem.com ... oh can't forget about www.Twitter.com!

Pixacom: Do you travel much for your modeling?
Amanda Olson: Yes, about every weekend! I hardly have time to unpack just to repack! It's not normal!

Pixacom: Do you like all the traveling?
Amanda Olson: You know what, I do. I get to see some really amazing places and I get paid to do it!

Pixacom: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
Amanda Olson: I have always wanted to go to Greece. It is so beautiful over there.

Pixacom: If you could play lead role in any type of movie, What kind of movie would it be?
Amanda Olson: Action .. I want a gun! lol. (Just in the movie)

Pixacom: What do you think about strip clubs?
Amanda Olson: You know I went to my first one EVER last summer and it didn't do much for me. I don't get too wild and crazy so they aren't really for me.

Pixacom: Do you have a favorite drink when at clubs or bars?
Amanda Olson: yeah water with a lime .. if I am having a cocktail though I will drink a Stoli Razz & water.

Pixacom: How about a favorite food to go along with the drink?
Amanda Olson: hmmm I usually don't eat when I am drinking .. I love sushi though. I could always go for some great sushi!

Pixacom: What kind of music are you listening to these days?
Amanda Olson: Alternative & Rock .. but really I listen to everything. One minute I am rockin out to Deftones then the next I am listening to Ginuwine. lol.

 

Pixacom: Best pickup line you've ever heard?
Amanda Olson: Girl:"I have a boyfriend." Guy:"I have two goldfish." Girl:"What?" Guy:"What, I thought we were talking about stuff that don't matter!"

Pixacom: Worst pickup line you've ever heard?
Amanda Olson: Guy: "How much does a polar bear wiegh?" Girl: "I dunno." Guy: "Enough to break the ice."

Pixacom: If you could be a super hero, what would that superhero be like?
Amanda Olson: Could I be Catwoman??! She was pretty hot in that outfit eh?!!? lol

Pixacom: How would you feel if a guy passed gas on a first date?
Amanda Olson: Grossed out!

Pixacom: Find a lamp and out pops a Genie, you get one wish, what would it be?
Amanda Olson: a million dollars!

Pixacom: Do you kiss on the first date?
Amanda Olson: Depends on how good the date goes I guess.

Pixacom: How many kids in highschool have asked you out?
Amanda Olson: Only 2 .. I wasn't the catch of the school back then. lol.

Pixacom: Should a person call right away or wait a few days?
Amanda Olson: Definitely not right away .. maybe the next day.

Pixacom: What kind of guy bugs you?
Amanda Olson: Aggressive guys. Many times I get guys who will approach me in the club or out in about and they will actually grab my arm or wrist to talk to me .. nothing turns me off more.

Pixacom: What does a guy need to do to make you stay?
Amanda Olson: Be a man of integrity - always do what you say you are going to do .. and be honest. You can never go wrong with the truth.

Pixacom: What's the worst place to meet a guy?
Amanda Olson: A bar or nightclub.

Pixacom: On a date... What does the person have to do to make it perfect for you?
Amanda Olson: Intrigue me. Be interesting. Make me laugh. Most importantly just be yourself. :)

Pixacom: Leather or lace?
Amanda Olson: Depends on what we're talking here .. lol... both?!?

Pixacom: What do you do to feel sexy?
Amanda Olson: I just take care of myself, which in turn gives you confidence, and confidence is sexy.

Pixacom: What does a guy have to do to make you feel sexy?
Amanda Olson: I don't believe in relying on anyone else to make you feel anything .. I believe we ultimately control our feelings so we control whether or not we feel sexy, ugly,sad, mad, bad, etc.

Pixacom: Where can we expect to see you at in the future? (Tv, Movies, Events)
Amanda Olson: Hopefully you will be hearing me on your radio with a smash hit!
