Pixacom: Where were you born, and how was life growing up?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: I was born in Santa Barbara, ca. I grew up with a big family of seven brothers and sisters. We moved up to Washington when I was younger. My mom and dad were borderline hippies and enjoyed the greeneriy. I was raised to have an open heart and mind.
I was always told I have the middle child syndrome, meaning I felt like I never had enough attention on me growing up. My moms always told me, "katie theres not enough attention in the world for you". I believe thats what sparked my modeling and acting career. I enjoy being in the spot light and having all the attention on me. But always for the right purposes of course.
Pixacom: What nationality are you?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: I am part Italian, German, and Swedish.
Pixacom: What would the average person say about you?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: I'm beautiful inside and out. She has a big heart and wants to heal this world with peace and love and hugs
Pixacom: What kind of stuff did you get into after high school?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: I went to Edmonds College for three years and attended University of Washington for a semester or to, but wasn't passionate about school I knew what I wanted to do, and wanted to put full effort into it. I was always the girl that also never wanted to conform to the 9-5 job, to this day I don't feel its right for me. I'm an extremely intuitive person, and go with what my heart tells me.
Pixacom: How did you get into modeling?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: I got into modeling, by networking with photographers and after developing my portfolio, I started getting gigs, attending casting calls and signed with non exclusive agencies, and since then I'm just building my empire.
Pixacom: How long have you been modeling?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Well Id like to say since I came out of the womb, but Id say the last five years Ive put more effort into it, and within the last two years, Ive been putting full 150 percent effort into it.
Pixacom: Have you done any Nude modeling?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: nope. And not that I have anything against being naked. Its just that its easy to take your clothes off, and pose. Id rather create art in my clothes.

Pixacom: How did you feel being in front of the camera for the first time?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: I honestly was nervous. You just don't know what to expect. But after 20 min, or so I warmed up and was able to loosen up. The trick to taking a picture, is telling a story with your face and body. Its bringing that emotion out through thought and body language.
Pixacom: How did you feel walking into your photo shoot?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Well my first shoot I was nervous as all heck, but knew I chose to do this and I have to get past my doubts and fears. and make magic happen.
Pixacom: So would you say you are comfortable now?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Oh yeah! yes
Pixacom: Would you say you are pretty comfortable with your body?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Love my body!
Pixacom: What would you say is your best feature?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Everything. Actually Id say my eyes.... They used to be blue when I lived in California, but I think with all the greenery up here they changed to a light light green.

Katie Sarene Sheaffer: 100% all natural. Plan on keeping it that way
Pixacom: What’s the best thing about being a model?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Being in front of the camera and using your body as an instrument to create masterpieces. Or the adrenaline rush I get from being on the runway. Its about the meaning in each experience and the fulfillment I receive from this profession.
Pixacom: What do you do differently to set yourself apart from other models?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Well I know many models will pose nude, and I have made it clear thats not my direction. I am blondie with a cause, on a mission to cure the lonely condition. (thats my rap). lol. I am different because I'm Katie shay aka Katie hotness. and I'm a model because it fulfills me. It completes me, makes me happy and I wake up everyday knowing that I love my life and its going to be a beautiful day. Many young girls want to pursue modeling for the wrong reasons or reasons that aren't beneficial to them. If your not passionate about modeling, and cant handle the criticism, this industry is not for you.
Pixacom: Where do you hope your modeling will take you?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Modeling and acting all the way to the top. Whether that means in movies, television show. runway, catalog. Success is at my doorstep and Ive invited it in. I know M there and Its in my hands to make the next step.
Pixacom: Any highlights in your modeling career?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Flying to New York and being one of 30 finalist for a major modeling show. Were talking from thousands and thousands of people... I was one of 30. That was a huge rush of awesome feelings!
Pixacom: Where can we find you on a typical weekend, if you aren't doing a photo shoot?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: In the sun, Walking, running, playing tennis ( that seems to be my thing lately), lounging around, Meditating, watching movies, hanging with my family, networking always!
Pixacom: What keeps you busy away from modeling?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Modeling and acting thats it! Thats my life

Katie Sarene Sheaffer: as of right now my career is first and that's what I want!
Pixacom: What is the coolest thing a fan has ever done for you?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Asked me to blow up a picture onto poster size and sign for them, because they wanted it above their bed.

Katie Sarene Sheaffer: oh yes I have lists of photographers Id love to work with!

Katie Sarene Sheaffer: I have been recently.
Pixacom: Do you like all the traveling?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: I do enjoy traveling. But its getting there that I don't like. Flying is hard for me. I always have to have my i pod and magazine to keep me distracted from taking off. I tend to get panicky.

Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Fiji and India, they have oneness temples where you go and create peace and love all around, Ive been told its a very spiritual place and I'm a spiritual person.
Pixacom: If you could play lead role in any type of movie, What kind of movie would it be?
Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Anything with Drama and I can cry. I seem to be pretty good at crying on Que.
I'm also pretty good at comedy. Laughing is healthy and if I can make someone laugh then I know its been a good day.

Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Ive had a really nice car. I thought it was all about the nice car, but really its not. But I am a Mercedes chicka for sure.

Katie Sarene Sheaffer: everything. I have a very eclectic taste in music...... You name it, I listen to it....

Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Rachael McAdams and Tom Hanks because their both amazing actors and I think I would have a lot to learn from them. More so gain insight to a raising star.

Katie Sarene Sheaffer: You look so familiar. Even though I know for a fact this guy is full of it.

Katie Sarene Sheaffer: I would be the love bug, having the ability to stop hate, wars, and violence and create peace among the world. Creating peace is the first step in improving our earth. Everything else will fall into place like a domino effect, once peace is established, amazing things will start to take place.

Katie Sarene Sheaffer: I would throw one right back at him.

Katie Sarene Sheaffer: Wish for 10 more wishes.... no but if I had one wish. Id wish for success and wealth in modeling and acting.... hands down...
