Cherry Black: Born and raised in the BX. My childhood was great. Being an only child made my relationship with my parents very strong.

Cherry Black: I call myself Caribbean American but if I were to break it down it would be Jamaican, Asian and Panamanian.

Cherry Black: One tough cookie.

Pixacom: What kind of stuff did you get into after high school?
Cherry Black: I went to college and worked until the birth of my son.

Pixacom: How did you get into modeling?
Cherry Black: It kinda feel in my lap…it wasn’t something I was looking to do.

Pixacom: How long have you been modeling?
Cherry Black: 7 months

Pixacom: Have you done any Nude modeling?
Cherry Black: Yes

Pixacom: How did you feel doing your first nude photo shoot?
Cherry Black: I thought I might pass out! Ironically I’m very shy..lol.

Pixacom: How did you feel being in front of the camera for the first time?
Cherry Black: Uncomfortable!! I wasn’t sure what was expected of me.

Pixacom: How did you feel walking into your photoshoot?
Cherry Black: Shy but EXCITED.

Pixacom: So would you say you are comfortable now?
Cherry Black: Extremely. I have a zone I get into from the night before. My alter ego takes over.

Pixacom: Would you say you are pretty comfortable with your body?
Cherry Black: I have my issues, like most females..but for the most part yeah.

Pixacom: What would you say is your best feature?
Cherry Black: My eyes.

Cherry Black: No.

Pixacom: What’s the best thing about being a model?
Cherry Black: I love playing around with different hairstyles/clothing/makeup that I would never rock in my everyday life.

Pixacom: What do you do differently to set yourself apart from other models?
Cherry Black: I have high standards and only look to produce QUALITY work. Im not hard up for pictures for Myspace lol.

Pixacom: Where do you hope your modeling will take you?
Cherry Black: Some traveling would be nice and I also enjoy meeting talented people, but Im not looking to be ANTM.

Cherry Black: Im completely random. Some weekends I wont leave my house and others I cant seem to stay still.

Pixacom: What keeps you busy away from modeling?
Cherry Black: My 3yr old son. He runs me in circles lol.

Pixacom: What do you want to do outside of modeling?
Cherry Black: I would love to lingerie line for petite women.

Pixacom: Five years from now, where do you see yourself?
Cherry Black: Hopefully a homeowner and soccer mom.

Pixacom: What is the coolest thing a fan has ever done for you?
Cherry Black: I actually got my first autograph request the other day…it blew me away!!

Pixacom: Any photographers you enjoy working with or hope to work with?
Cherry Black: Working with Cat_6 is always a pleasure, and my list of photographers I would love to work with is a mile long lol.

Pixacom: Which ineternet websites would you say you spend most of your time at?
Cherry Black: None.. i try to limit my online time.

Pixacom: Do you travel much for your modeling?
Cherry Black: No I haven’t done any traveling yet but I have some things in the work for 09..

Cherry Black: Japan just to shop lol.

Cherry Black: An Offbeat Comedy. I love dry humor.
