Pixacom: Where were you born, and how was life growing up?
Cristi Casalena: Carroll County Maryland, I’ve always been brought up with classic Italian point of view. Big family, and very close knit!

Pixacom: What nationality are you?
Cristi Casalena: Italian and Scottish

Pixacom: What would the average person say about you?
Cristi Casalena: Well it depends on how well they knew me…The ones who know me, mostly say that I’m really creative and friendly!

Pixacom: What kind of stuff did you get into after high school?
Cristi Casalena:I first worked as an apprentice at a hair salon for a little, and then found myself in the fashion industry with my pop!

Pixacom: How did you get into modeling?
Cristi Casalena: I’m fascinated by every aspect of the fashion industry. I want to experience and explore every position at some point.

Pixacom: How long have you been modeling?
Cristi Casalena: a year and half

Pixacom: Have you done any Nude modeling?
Cristi Casalena: nope, doubt I ever will.

Pixacom: How did you feel doing your first nude photo shoot?
Cristi Casalena:

Pixacom: How did you feel being in front of the camera for the first time?
Cristi Casalena: With out a doubt nervous! But after talking to the photographer and being outside (which I love) I had a blast! And was determined to be in more photo shoots!

Pixacom: How did you feel walking into your photoshoot?
Cristi Casalena: excited, and completely focused!

Pixacom: So would you say you are comfortable now?
Cristi Casalena: Extremely!

Pixacom: Would you say you are pretty comfortable with your body?
Cristi Casalena: Im a huge perfectionist, so I’m trying to embrace what I have been blessed with. Not trying to fix everything.


Pixacom: What would you say is your best feature?
Cristi Casalena: Lips

Pixacom: Are you enhanced with Plastic Sugery?
Cristi Casalena: Nope, all natural and horrified by needles!

Pixacom: What’s the best thing about being a model?
Cristi Casalena: Being able to Speak through your appearance. By that I mean, through either expressions or style.

 

Pixacom: What do you do differently to set yourself apart from other models?
Cristi Casalena: Be as creative as possible, keep my mind open at all times, and remain clam and easy going. I can get along with anyone!

Pixacom: Where do you hope your modeling will take you?
Cristi Casalena: To push my abilities in the fashion industry. And hopefully allow it to show in my clothing. Whether I design them or wear them.

Pixacom: Any highlights in your modeling career?
Cristi Casalena: Joining Carlyn Davis Casting company- I was referred by a client of my fathers whom is also a movie producer.

 

Pixacom: Where can we find you on a typical weekend, if you aren't doing a photoshoot?
Cristi Casalena: Going out with my friends, sometimes to dinner or to shows! I love music!

Pixacom: What keeps you busy away from modeling?
Cristi Casalena: My other Career, I’m an Intern at a custom clothing co. or sketching. Im debating on make up courses or art courses in my free time!

Pixacom: What do you want to do outside of modeling?
Cristi Casalena: Designing!

Pixacom: Five years from now, where do you see yourself?
Cristi Casalena: Running my fathers clothing showroom! Hopefully design suite styles/ patterns for the corporation.

Pixacom: What is the coolest thing a fan has ever done for you?
Cristi Casalena: The only real fans I suppose I have at the moment would be my family and friends. They love and support me more then any fan ever could, that’s all I really need : )

Pixacom: Any photographers you enjoy working with or hope to work with?
Cristi Casalena: The three photographers I’ve recently worked with are very talented, and each one of them I have learned something new and positive from!

Pixacom: Which internet websites would you say you spend most of your time at?
Cristi Casalena: myspace

Pixacom: Do you travel much for your modeling?
Cristi Casalena: I haven’t so far, I wouldn’t mind though.

Pixacom: Do you like all the traveling?
Cristi Casalena: My furthest travel was to dc, and it wasn’t too bad

Pixacom: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
Cristi Casalena: Sicily Italy, I still have many relatives their!

Pixacom: If you could play lead role in any type of movie, What kind of movie would it be?
Cristi Casalena: An action/drama...Anything directed by Martin Scorsese

Pixacom: Do you have a favorite Car?
Cristi Casalena: I enjoy driving my BMW at the moment. A Ferrari some day wouldn’t be bad though! Haha

Pixacom: What do you think about strip clubs?
Cristi Casalena: Not my scene but I don’t hold grudges against anyone involved in them.

Pixacom: What kind of music are you listening to these days?
Cristi Casalena: I listen to literally everything you can think of. I find my true place in Alterative or indie rock.

Pixacom: Tell us something you got away with?
Cristi Casalena: When I first got my lisence I got a ticket for speeding. I was going 85 in a 55mph highway! I went to court and had the ticket dropped. I walked out with no points and a $25.00 court fee.

Pixacom: Which celebrity would you like to meet and why?
Cristi Casalena: Celebrities these days are too overrated. Judy Garland is classic in the wizard of oz and was the idol or my adolescence! Presently Hayden Christensen, the man owns two pigs! And is an architect in his free time. I love anyone with a big heart, a sense of creativity, and reality!

Pixacom: Best pickup line you've ever heard?
Cristi Casalena: A simple introduction or a complement. I hate when men over do it, or try too hard.

Pixacom: Worst pickup line you've ever heard?
Cristi Casalena: AYYYYEE GIRRRRRRL!

Pixacom: If you could be a super hero, what would that superhero be like?
Cristi Casalena: a really average underdog type, that no one expects. Very mysterious. Most of all you can do anything if you could be invincible.

Pixacom: What the worst prank anyone has ever played on you?
Cristi Casalena: On April fools- My cousin somehow convinced me that she had reason to believe my best friend was pregnant and she was going to kick her out of her house if I didn’t speak to her immediately! It was awful! Haha

Pixacom: Find a lamp and out pops a Genie, you get one wish, what would it be?
Cristi Casalena: To be happy at all times/ live a stress free life.

Cristi Casalena: right away

Pixacom: What's the worst place to meet a guy?
Cristi Casalena: a strip club! haha

Pixacom: On a date... What does the person have to do to make it perfect for you?
Cristi Casalena: Its really not what they do, its showing who they are, and how they will treat me.

Pixacom: Do you have any dreams or goals you're shooting for?
Cristi Casalena: Become a designer!

Pixacom: Do you have anything to say to your supporters and your future fans?
Cristi Casalena: To never give up. For some reason wherever you are right now was meant to be. And will lead you to your destiny!
