Josie Lee: I was born in the Philippines. I grew up in sunny southern California with palm trees, picnics year round, and rollerblading in the park. I love warm weather!

Josie Lee: Gentle, kind, cheerful, and I can be very business-like.

Josie Lee: Attended UCSD, was a cheerleader, joined a modeling agency a few years later.
Pixacom: How did you get into modeling
Josie Lee: Family pressure.
Pixacom: How long have you been modeling
Josie Lee: Almost 9 years.
Pixacom: Have you done any Nude modeling
Josie Lee: Yes, I am comfortable with it even though nowadays my fashion bookings pay a LOT more than glamour nudes. It gives me little incentive to do nudes nowadays, since I have a lot of commercial and catalog work.
Pixacom: How did you feel doing your first nude photo shoot
Josie Lee: Nervous, but I do have a bit of exhibitionist tendencies. Not as much anymore.....
Pixacom: How did you feel being in front of the camera for the first time
Josie Lee: A litle nervous, but at home.
Pixacom: How did you feel walking into your photoshoot
Josie Lee: My very first booking was modeling as a character for a Playstation Video Game, so there were cool costumes made out of steel with body armor, etc. and a cool wig, swords, and a triangle tattoo on my forehead. I was nervous and excited walking into my first shoot.
Pixacom: So would you say you are comfortable now
Josie Lee: Definitely. It was what I was always meant to do.
Pixacom: Would you say you are pretty comfortable with your body
Josie Lee: Yes, I am comfortable in my own skin.
Pixacom: What would you say is your best feature
Josie Lee: I am usually told it's my eyes, or my cheekbones, lips, or waistline.
Pixacom: Are you enhanced with Plastic Sugery
Josie Lee: I had my breasts augmented a long time ago. I will limit it to that!
Pixacom: Why did you get them enhanced and do you think it helps your modeling career
Josie Lee: I had them enhanced long before I ever decided to model. I had a good cup size before my surgery. They were full and symetrical, but I was being greedy and decided to get more. As for modeling, it doesn't hurt to have them for the many calendars and swimsuit magazines that I have done. But I also do a lot of fashion modeling and catalogs, and that makes it difficult for me sometimes because the designers like a smaller chest which doesn't distract from their fashions.
Pixacom: What’s the best thing about being a model
Josie Lee: Autograph signings at celebrity conventions. I get to meet a lot of other people in the industry and network. It also gives fans a chance to meet me in person and I have met so many nice people.
Pixacom: What do you do differently to set yourself apart from other models
Josie Lee: I am just trying to keep true to my vision and long-term goals. I take modeling seriously as a full-time career. One thing I do differently is I write professionally for magazines and newspapers in my spare time. It's another creative outlet for me.
Pixacom: Where do you hope your modeling will take you
Josie Lee: More International bookings.
Pixacom: Any highlights in your modeling career
Josie Lee: Since my first jewelry catalog, I've done many other jewelry campaigns since which I think is my favorite type of booking. I also loved doing the Benchwarmer Supermodel Trading Cards. I was featured in Playboy Magazine a few months ago - which was fun. I'm in the newstands right now in China and the UK in Photography and Computer Magazines. I also starred in several commercials this year: Coors Light Beer and an infomercial for St. Thomas Luxury Condominiums. I am featured on billboards across Canada for Vex Lemonade Coolers. Last month I did some televised fashion shows in the Philippines, and the 2008 Nautical Angels Calendar which features models in couture 20 feet underwater. So I am very diverse in my assignments.
Pixacom: Where can we find you on a typical weekend, if you aren't doing a photoshoot
Josie Lee: Going to brunch on a Saturday morning, or Afternoon Tea on Sundays. I also love to cook and plan menus.
Pixacom: What keeps you busy away from modeling
Josie Lee: I recently joined a dance studio so I take classes 6 times a week. That takes a lot of my time. I also go to the library every week to get a variety of books. I love checking out books from the library. If I had to buy every book I've ever read, my condo would be overflowing and I need all the room I can spare for my clothes and high heel shoes!
Pixacom: What do you want to do outside of modeling
Josie Lee: Have many hobbies and spend quality time with loved ones.
Pixacom: Five years from now, where do you see yourself
Josie Lee: I'm a traditional old-fashioned girl, so it's likely that I will want what most women usually want - what our mothers got to have. But in addition I want a career of my own and interests of my own.
Pixacom: What is the coolest thing a fan has ever done for you
Josie Lee: Giving me encouragement and support is something that's very sweet and means a lot to me. But if you mean gifts: Prada, Chanel, Vera Wang purses and heels, candles from Tiffany's, Godiva chocolates, diamond bracelets, diamond earrings, laptops, crystals, and I've been fortunate to have been blessed with fans who have become friends and are really good people.

Josie Lee: My favorite photographers recently are: Philip Ritchie, Mark Cooper, T. H. Taylor, Eva Simon, Robin Howland, and please forgive me for anyone I cannot remember right now.

Josie Lee: Yes, I practically live on an airplane.

Josie Lee: Yes. I get bored easily so I like change of scenery.

Josie Lee: Paris, to see the Louvre (waiting for the right man to take me!). I would also love to see St. Petersburg to tour the Hermitage.
Pixacom: If you could play lead role in any type of movie, What kind of movie would it be
Josie Lee: A cruel and lethal assasin.

Josie Lee: A white convertible Bentley.
Pixacom: What do you think about strip clubs
Josie Lee: I wouldn't work in one, but it would be a cool place to finally try out my dance moves. I'm really good at the art of strip tease and pole dancing. I know a lot of dance routines.
Pixacom: Do you have a favorite drink when at clubs or bars
Josie Lee: I seldom go to bars, but if it's somehow unavoidable, I like to order Amaretto Sours, and that shot that tastes like butterscotch.
Pixacom: How about a favorite food to go along with the drink
Josie Lee: I don't eat in bars. But if I had the drink in a restaurant or lounge, maybe some dainty appetizer. But I never eat veal, lamb or lobster.
Pixacom: What kind of music are you listening to these days
Josie Lee: Hip hop. But I also like Offspring, Greenday, Coldplay, Maroon 5.
Pixacom: Tell us something you got away with
Josie Lee: Traffic violations. I broke 5 different violations (2 by accident) and I was amazed at how I got out of it. The policeman let me off with a stern warning and sent me flowers a few days later. I was very lucky to get off the hook so easy. The next time I get pulled over, I'll probably get the book thrown at me! So I obey all traffic laws and I never even speed!

Josie Lee: Nicole Kidman. I just adore her talent, inner strength and serene beauty.

Josie Lee: Psylocke. Is that too obscure

Pixacom: What the worst prank you've ever played on anyone
Josie Lee: I don't remember playing pranks on anyone. I'm too transparent. I could never fool anyone.
Pixacom: What the worst prank anyone has ever played on you
Josie Lee: Telling me that the Gucci headquarters in Seacacus had closed down. That really upset me. I go there with my girlfriends once a year.
Pixacom: How would you feel if a guy passed gas on a first date
Josie Lee: My feelings would depend on how he behaved after. If he was honest about it, and apologized, perhaps with a little bit of an explanation ,e.g. "My stomach hurts...." then I would try to help him heal his stomach and not embarrass him further. Poeple should be kind if possible. And people who are honest to me deserve kindness.

Josie Lee: True, old-fashioned LOVE. Simple, honorable, and pure.

Josie Lee: I will list physical and personality traits: Nice smile, good posture, clear skin, impeccable grooming, clean-cut looks. An intellectual, with a sense of humor, wit, integrity, sensitivity, patience, talent, generosity, good manners, honorable, charming, and makes me the center of his universe. A great deal of commonality, traditional values, monogamy, a strong moral center, humanity, gentleness for me and inner strength to do what is right. Josie Lee: Don't take up three parking spaces just because you have a Porsche. That doesn't impress me. Don't brag. Don't name drop. Don't try to kiss me on the first date. I won't let you!

Josie Lee: No.
Pixacom: How many kids in highschool have asked you out
Josie Lee: Everyone knew I couldn't really go out. I had very strict parents. But I did have a boyfriend in senior year. I didn't really see much of him outside of school.

Josie Lee: I don't play games. He can call me right away if he likes. That would be charming.

Josie Lee: I'm a little bit of an Emily Post nut. Good manners are important to me, inherent refinement is a plus. Guys that bug me are those who lack decent manners and are not presentable to my family or social circle.
Pixacom: What does a guy need to do to make you stay
Josie Lee: I won't say. But I'm very observant. If he is the right man for me, then he will act honorably and that's what it takes to keep my love and make me stay around.

Josie Lee: A bar.

Josie Lee: Be a gentleman. Chivalry is not dead. Hold open the doors (correctly). Don't open the doors in a way that I have to duck under your arm to pass. Open the door, and then step out of the way (parellel to the door) so I can pass easily without hunching down under your arm. Shut your cell phone off if we are inside the restaurant. Unless you are an ER doctor, it's usually rude to keep your ringer on at the table.
