Lena Pereira: A friend convinced me Pixacom: How long have you been modeling? Lena Pereira: I modeled a few years ago and then just got strictly into fitness -but I'm back again so I would say 5 days? Pixacom: Have you done any Nude modeling? Lena Pereira: Topless Pixacom: How did you feel doing your first nude photo shoot? Lena Pereira: Comfortable -topless Pixacom: How did you feel being in front of the camera for the first time? Lena Pereira: At first, shy. . . I was a lot more shy modeling than I am in front of the camera dancing/performing. . .I perform in Fitness Festivals in front of 200 -300 people sometimes and when I first started the modeling I was nervous in front of the one photographer. . .But now I'm over it. . . Pixacom: How did you feel walking into your photoshoot? Lena Pereira: First one? A little nervous. .. Pixacom: So would you say you are comfortable now? Lena Pereira: Absolutely Pixacom: Would you say you are pretty comfortable with your body? Lena Pereira: Yes Pixacom: What would you say is your best feature? Lena Pereira: I have a big, round butt. People ask me sometimes if it's fake. I guess it would either be my butt or my eyes (gateway to the soul/right? and I think my soul is good / positive vibes ) Pixacom: Are you enhanced with Plastic Sugery? Lena Pereira: Nope. Completely natural Pixacom: What’s the best thing about being a model? Lena Pereira: I really love the finished products. I love the art of photography and the male/female form Pixacom: What do you do differently to set yourself apart from other models? Lena Pereira: dance @ shoots Pixacom: Where do you hope your modeling will take you? Lena Pereira: I would like to do more fitness modeling (Nike style dance poses)and maybe swimsuit stuff. I have never been in a fitness magazine -or swimsuit calendar for that matter and I would like to do that. . . Pixacom: Any highlights in your modeling career? Lena Pereira: I was featured in the Molsen commercial. That was fun. And a guy put a beer bottle on my butt for the Coors one lol. . .I am looking forward to more 'highlights' Pixacom: Where can we find you on a typical weekend, if you aren't doing a photoshoot? Lena Pereira: Working on new choreography. I choreograph shows for some of the Night clubs here on South Beach and in West Palm. -Or working on choreography for my classes. . . Pixacom: What keeps you busy away from modeling? Lena Pereira: Fitness related stuff -festivals/articles( I am on the board of Directors for www.elementsforwomen.com) and I write fitness articles for their online fitness magazine. I also write fitness manuals for certifications. . . Pixacom: What do you want to do outside of modeling? Lena Pereira: Make a difference -be someone unique in Fitness -I want to be the one who is recognized in Fitness for doing positive things. I believe that fitness should be marketed to the world as something that makes you feel good and less about the way that it makes you look. . .Emphasis on psychological/emotional benefits rather than a means to an end to achieve the 'so called' perfect body. . .There are mind / Body programs out there that implement that way of thinking more, like Yoga, but not too much for the other programs. . . Pixacom: Five years from now, where do you see yourself? Lena Pereira: Happy Pixacom: What is the coolest thing a fan has ever done for you? Lena Pereira: Sometimes fans ask me to give my autograph (at fitness events) which I think is pretty funny. But I LOVE it when fans (students) give me CD's with new music. I think those are always my best gifts. . . Pixacom: Any photographers you enjoy working with or hope to work with? Lena Pereira: I have traveled for fitness work. Not yet for modeling Pixacom: Do you like all the traveling? Lena Pereira: Love it Pixacom: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be? Lena Pereira: I have traveled/toured through a lot of cities in Italy. I ADORE Italy -Think I may have been Italian in a past life or something - So I would go back to ITALY as my first choice. . .Second, Darfur to volunteer. . . Pixacom: If you could play lead role in any type of movie, What kind of movie would it be? Lena Pereira: Kill Bill type - Quentin Tarantino fo sho Pixacom: Do you have a favorite Car?
