Pixacom: Where were you born, and how was life growing up?
Alyssa Rey: Monterey, CA - Growing up, life was difficult at times. I was raised in the Bay Area and grew up as a tomboy. I was feisty and used to get into fights all the time! I went to school with a lot of crazy people. I grew up studying like a maniac and playing sports for leisure. My parents worked really hard to support me and my brother and I am proud that they have made me who I am today. I graduated from UCI and have a B.S. in Biological Sciences. Now that I am finished with college, life has only gotten even more difficult! I have a dog, work full time, and model part time.. while simultaneously applying for medical school!

Pixacom: What nationality are you?
Alyssa Rey: Vietnamese, Hawaiian and Chinese

Pixacom: What would the average person say about you?
Alyssa Rey: The average person would probably say.... that... I'm really dull. I'm just kidding. They'd probably say that I'm fun to be around, intelligent, love animals and also to cook and bake. I'm very down-to-earth and organized. Although I sometimes wear myself out because I try to do too many things at once, I am only trying to accomplish my goals in life. I love school (I know, I'm a nerd), modeling, and hanging out with my friends. I have a great relationship with my family.. and although I may not look like one, I am a huge dork. ;)

Pixacom: What kind of stuff did you get into after high school?
Alyssa Rey: I went to UCI and received a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences. Being in Orange County, of course, I learned how to surf.

Pixacom: How did you get into modeling?
Alyssa Rey: A friend of mine knew a well-established photographer and introduced me to him. We did a few photoshoots and from there, my modeling career launched.

Pixacom: How long have you been modeling?
Alyssa Rey: I actually started about 3 years ago, but stopped because I had a lot of obstacles in life at the time. I was also going to school.. but now that I'm finished, I'm back!

Pixacom: Have you done any Nude modeling?
Alyssa Rey: No

Pixacom: How did you feel being in front of the camera for the first time?
Alyssa Rey: It was a little awkward at first. I didn't really know what to expect and how I, as a model, was supposed to interact with the camera. After a few first shots though, I got the hang of it.

Pixacom: How did you feel walking into your photoshoot?
Alyssa Rey: Giddy

Pixacom: So would you say you are comfortable now?
Alyssa Rey: Yes, definitely

Pixacom: Would you say you are pretty comfortable with your body?
Alyssa Rey: Yes, I am happy with my body. I try to eat healthy and work out often to take care of myself.

Pixacom: What would you say is your best feature?
Alyssa Rey: Don't laugh... but I really like my toes!

Pixacom: What's the best thing about being a model?
Alyssa Rey: Perks... making connections with new people... getting glammed up for an event or photoshoot and smiling for the camera :)

Pixacom: What do you do differently to set yourself apart from other models?
Alyssa Rey: Well, every model has his/her feature(s) that set themselves apart from others. For me, I would have to say that I am different because I "come off" as a model with not only aspirations to become a better model, but also a productive member of society because I want to become a doctor. I like to be well-rounded in the sense that I am not only a respectable model, but I am also fun, intelligent, and like to give back to the community by doing volunteer work. Although I do these things on the side, I would love to boost my modeling career.

Pixacom: Where do you hope your modeling will take you?
Alyssa Rey: Something big... I would love to be featured in magazines like Maxim and FHM, or to become a spokesmodel, UFC ring girl, JGTC flag girl.. or the next Tyra Banks! Haha!

Pixacom: Any highlights in your modeling career?
Alyssa Rey: Yes! I did a photoshoot at the Playboy Mansion just last week. It was an awesome experience and so much fun.

Pixacom: Where can we find you on a typical weekend, if you aren't doing a photoshoot?
Alyssa Rey: Probably at the park, walking my dog... maybe bumming it on my couch in the living room.. or cooking in the kitchen. Playing Halo 3 and pwning no0bs.

Pixacom: What keeps you busy away from modeling?
Alyssa Rey: Work, my dog, school stuff...

Pixacom: What do you want to do outside of modeling?
Alyssa Rey: I want to go to medical school.

Pixacom: Five years from now, where do you see yourself?
Alyssa Rey: Still pwning no0bs. Jk. Hopefully winning the lotto or something like that.

Pixacom: What is the coolest thing a fan has ever done for you?
Alyssa Rey: Bought me an Aston Martin DB9... black. I wish.

Pixacom: Any photographers you enjoy working with or hope to work with?
Alyssa Rey: I really enjoy working with Chris Carlo. He's very upbeat and enthusiastic. I hope to work with Steve Bitanga. The man knows how to shoot models well and has a lot of creativity.

Alyssa Rey: Google.com, Dictionary.com, ModelMayhem.com, Myspace.com, Froogle.com, VictoriasSecret.com... etc.

Pixacom: Do you travel much for your modeling?
Alyssa Rey: I travel mostly around California.

Pixacom: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
Alyssa Rey: Bora Bora!

Pixacom: If you could play lead role in any type of movie, What kind of movie would it be?
Alyssa Rey: I would love to play a role like Angelina Jolie in Gone in 60 Seconds, Tomb Raider or Mr. and Mrs. Smith because I like cars and guns!

Alyssa Rey: YES! More like favorite CARS: Aston Martin DB9, Porsche Cayman 4S, Bugatti Veyron, Koenigsegg CCX

Pixacom: What kind of music are you listening to these days?
Alyssa Rey: mainstream hip hop, underground hip hop, jazz, flamenco, rock, pop, alternative... I love music

Pixacom: Tell us something you got away with?
Alyssa Rey: Going 135 mph on a long, empty stretch of the freeway in the middle of the night. Shhhh...

Pixacom: Which celebrity would you like to meet and why?
Alyssa Rey: Chris Brown! He is sooooo talented.

Pixacom: If you could be a super hero, what would that superhero be like?
Alyssa Rey: I don't think I'd specifically want to be any type of superhero, but I do wish that I could freeze time! It always seems like there are not enough hours in a day.

Pixacom: What the worst prank you've ever played on anyone?
Alyssa Rey: My friends and I blocked off an entire busy intersection with orange street/construction cones in the middle of the night. We sat in our car all night long and watched everyone stop at the intersection and watch their reactions. One guy was driving so fast that he drove right into the cones and dragged one off with his car.

Pixacom: What the worst prank anyone has ever played on you?
Alyssa Rey: No one has ever been able to fool me ;)

Pixacom: How would you feel if a guy passed gas on a first date?
Alyssa Rey: Grossssss! I'd laugh at him and probably never call him back.

Alyssa Rey: Oh my gosh, my list will never end. Skinny, thick glasses, pasty skin, tight pants with a short-sleeved collared shirt with a pocket protector and calculator at all times, must know pi by heart to the 34th number AFTER the decimal... haha no I'm kidding!! Seriously, I would like a guy that is tall, muscular, handsome, genuine, sweet, will buy me flowers, treat me like a princess and will never cheat on me!

Alyssa Rey: yes

Pixacom: Give us the dirt on your dating life. Any first date rules?
Alyssa Rey: Just don't be too forward. I just like to hang out and have a good time without feeling uncomfortable.

Alyssa Rey: Maybe... only if I've known the guy for a long time.

Pixacom: How many kids in highschool have asked you out?
Alyssa Rey: I don't know?

Alyssa Rey: Trust me, give me my independence, respect me, and treat me like a princess. :P

Alyssa Rey: At a club or bar

Pixacom: On a date... What does the person have to do to make it perfect for you?
Alyssa Rey: Plan out everything so that all I have to do is dress up and put on my make up.

Alyssa Rey: I have many goals and aspirations in life. I would like to be successful in anything I do, such as modeling and in school. My ultimate goal is to become a doctor.
