Pixacom: Where were you born, and how was life growing up?
Andria Lea: I was born in Kansas City, Missouri. I have always led a blessed life. Not spoiled... just very blessed. I really can't think of anything my sister and I ever wanted that our parents weren't able to provide for us. It was a loving environment and we are all healthy. I rode ponies, go-carts, and mopeds. I played with puppies, swam, read, danced, did gymnastics, and daydreamed. And fought with my sister (www.angiesemsch.com)!


Pixacom: What nationality are you?
Andria Lea: Mostly Cherokee Indian and Sicilian, with a bit of Polish, English, German, and Irish mixed in.


Pixacom: What would the average person say about you?
Andria Lea: That I'm adventurous and very easy to get along with, smart and funny, and a genuinely good person who would do anything for animals.


Pixacom: What kind of stuff did you get into after high school?
Andria Lea: I attended Missouri State University and obtained my Bachelors Degree in Biology with a Chemistry Minor, and interviewed with a Veterinary Medical School. Based on many factors, I switched my focus to nursing and obtained an Associates Degree of Nursing with Honors and my RN license. My career goal is to earn my Masters Degree as a Nurse Anesthetist. I am currently advancing toward that goal by working as a critical care nurse, in ICUs and Step Down Units with Cardiothoracic patients. While in college I was in Student Government, Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority, on the dance team, and in the Pre-Vet Med Club.


Pixacom: How did you get into modeling?
Andria Lea: I started modeling in high school by participating in local and state pageants, and continued to do that in college. I then took a break from the industry and have been back into modeling for the last 2 years.


Pixacom: How did you feel being in front of the camera for the first time?
Andria Lea: Excited and confident. My father was a photographer/videographer, so my sister and I spent our whole lives in front of a camera. With each photoshoot or project that I am involved in, I feel my work continues to improve.


Pixacom: What’s the best thing about modeling?
Andria Lea: The best thing about modeling for me is the traveling. I love every aspect of travel- different cultures and seeing exotic and historical locations. Other advantages are making new friends and memories. I also greatly enjoy the creative aspect of making a beautiful image or a great video.


Pixacom: What do you do to set yourself apart from other models?
Andria Lea: I think what sets me apart is that I want to use the exposure I gain from modeling to spread awareness about the things I'm passionate about- such as prevention of animal abuse, the importance of spaying/neutering pets and strays, and taking care of the environment, to name a few. I think people should find a cause close to their hearts and fight for it. Another thing that makes me different is that I'm not afraid to openly claim my Christian faith, and I have set limits that I refuse to compromise for more money or fame.


Pixacom: Where do you hope your modeling will take you?
Andria Lea: I don't expect to be a supermodel, but I would like to continue to build a fanbase and travel and work consistently. There is a market for people of all types/ages, so I feel that I can realistically continue to model into my old age or until I get tired of it. If I get a movie deal or major ad campaign out of it, then hey- that's great, but I'm not overly concerned with fame. I am a very competitive person however, and anything I'm involved in I want to be at the top- so don't mistake my nonchalance for a lack of motivation.





Pixacom: What has been the highlight of your modeling career?
Andria Lea: When I got back into modeling it started off strong with an appearance in the July 2006 issue of Maxim Magazine as one of the top 100 Hometown Hotties. This past year the highlights have been my recent trips to Jamaica for TeaseUm, and Spain for the Ujena Bikini Jam.


Pixacom: Where can we find you on a typical weekend, if you aren't doing a photoshoot?
Andria Lea: Hanging out with my dog and family, church, or working at the hospital. In the winter I'm probably snowboarding, and in the summer you'll find me at the lake or grilling out. I'm also starting to do volunteer work for local animal shelters and rescue organizations soon.


Pixacom: Five years from now, where do you see yourself?
Andria Lea: Obtaining my Master's Degree as a Nurse Anesthetist, and still holding my own in the modeling industry. Probably living in the mountains or in Europe, and snowboarding every chance I can.


Pixacom: What is the coolest thing a fan has ever done for you?
Andria Lea: I had several recent donations for my trip to Spain, which was a true blessing.


Pixacom: Do you travel much?
Andria Lea: As much as I can get away with!


Pixacom: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
Andria Lea: I would love to go to New Zealand.


Pixacom: If you could play lead role in any type of movie, What kind of movie would it be?
Andria Lea: First preference would be an action film.


Pixacom: Do you have a favorite Car?
Andria Lea: I have a thing for old Mercedes and Jaguars. My first car ever was an MGB convertible!


Pixacom: Do you have a favorite drink when at clubs or bars?
Andria Lea: I love red wine, long island ice teas, sangria, and diet energy drinks with vodka.


Pixacom: How about a favorite food to go along with the drink?
Andria Lea: Sushi is my favorite food of all time.


Pixacom: Should a person call right away or wait a few days?
Andria Lea: My advice would be to gauge how long you wait on the woman's response to you. If she was indifferent wait a couple days. If you think she's into you, call her the next day. Just don't play mind games, go with your gut.


Pixacom: What kind of guy bugs you?
Andria Lea: Loud obnoxious drunk guys who think they are cool. Or weird Stage 5 clinger guys that don't give you space. Men without goals or values.


Pixacom: What does a guy need to do to make you stay?
Andria Lea: Keep me on my toes and make me laugh. I like to be challenged mentally and treated with respect. I like romance but I also like my space. I'm very independent.


Pixacom: On a date... What does the person have to do to make it perfect for you?
Andria Lea: Be a little early, dess appropriately, smell nice, make me laugh, be creative, good conversation, and don't try to get me in bed.


Pixacom: Leather or lace?
Andria Lea: Definitely lace since it didn't "use to have a soul", as my friend Tracy would say!


Pixacom: Do you have any fantasies?
Andria Lea: Yes, of course.


Pixacom: What do you do to feel sexy?
Andria Lea: Workout, dress classy, dance, and just be myself.


Pixacom: Where can we expect to see you at in the future?
Andria Lea: In magazine features, various promotional events, radio appearances, and hopefully television. I have several projects coming up that I'm very excited for.


Pixacom: Do you want to say anything to your fans?
Andria Lea: I want to thank all my admirers for your continued support and belief in me, and for your ability to see that I am way more than what you see on the outside, and for respecting what I stand for.
