Lyn Ortiz: I saw a model competition on tv and thought that it looked fun, so I checked into it and tried out. I did very well, had a blast, and have been modeling ever since. Pixacom: How long have you been modeling? Lyn Ortiz: 4 years Pixacom: How did you feel being in front of the camera for the first time? Lyn Ortiz: Very comfortable, like this is my niche. I block out everything around me, it is just me and the camera. It feels great. Pixacom: How did you feel walking into your photoshoot? Lyn Ortiz: Excited, I couldn't wait to get started and when it was over I couldn't wait to do it again. Pixacom: So would you say you are comfortable now? Lyn Ortiz: Extremely comfortable. I love this. Pixacom: Are you comfortable with your body? Lyn Ortiz: Yes, about a 9/10 Pixacom: Are you enhanced? Lyn Ortiz: Hmmm, wouldn't you like to know! Pixacom: What's the best thing about modeling? Lyn Ortiz: The vibe, and energy I get from the setting and the photographer and when we are able to combine our ideas so that it is portayed in the photograph, it can be pretty amazing. Pixacom: What do you do to set yourself apart from other models? Lyn Ortiz: I understand that we all have different looks, styles, and personalities. I am just myelf, I don't try to be or act like someone I am not. With me, you get what you see, all genuine. Pixacom: Where do you hope your modeling will take you? Lyn Ortiz: Of course every model would like to be the next Top Model, but I also understand that this is a very competitve industry. With that, I am happy with where ever God leads me. Pixacom: What has been the highlight of your modeling career? Lyn Ortiz: Meeting new people and traveling to different locations. Pixacom: Where can we find you on a typical weekend, if you aren't doing a photoshoot? Lyn Ortiz: At home with my family. My family is very important to me, so every chance we get together we spend it together. Pixacom: What keeps you busy away from modeling? Lyn Ortiz: Family activities, school work, or my business. Pixacom: What do you want to do outside of modeling? Lyn Ortiz: Continue to build my business. I know that I will only be able to model for so long, therefore I am trying to start a business that I can call my own. Pixacom: Five years from now, where do you see yourself? Lyn Ortiz: Very successful in my business with many exciting years and experience of modeling under my belt. Pixacom: What is the coolest thing a fan has ever done for you? Lyn Ortiz: Buy me gifts. One gentleman bought me a $100 cowboy hat when i worked at the Rodeo because it was hot and he didn't want me to get sunburned.  Pixacom: Do you travel much? Lyn Ortiz: At least once a month. Pixacom: Do you like all the traveling? Lyn Ortiz: I love it. Pixacom: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be? Lyn Ortiz: I love Cancun, that is my absolute favorite place so far. Pixacom: If you could play lead role in any type of movie, What kind of movie would it be? Lyn Ortiz: I love scary movies so probably a scary movie, or a suspense movie. Pixacom: Do you have a favorite Car? Lyn Ortiz: yes, the Lexus IS 300 (my current car) Pixacom: What do you think about strip clubs? Lyn Ortiz: I am against them. Pixacom: Do you have a favorite drink when at clubs or bars? Lyn Ortiz: I don't drink. I am a good girl. I think drinking is over rated. If you can't have fun without alcohol, then what is the point. Pixacom: How about a favorite food to go along with the drink? Lyn Ortiz: I love mexican food. Pixacom: What kind of music are you listening to these days? Lyn Ortiz: I love all kinds, hip hop, r&b, and contemporary christian. Pixacom: Tell us something you got away with? Lyn Ortiz: Well I was the only girl in my family, so I got away with a lot. Pixacom: Are you single now? Lyn Ortiz: No, very happily married to the best man on earth. Pixacom: Tell us about the person your with today? Lyn Ortiz: He treats me with the utmost respect, he honestly loves me with all his heart. He does anything for me. Pixacom: Give us the dirt on your dating life. Any first date rules? Lyn Ortiz: Only first base with me. Pixacom: Do you kiss on the first date? Lyn Ortiz: I did with my husband. Pixacom: How many kids in highschool have asked you out? Lyn Ortiz: I got asked out a lot, however I was very, very picky. I could see through most boys, and knew exactly what they wanted. Pixacom: Should a person call right away or wait a few days? Lyn Ortiz: Not right away, but don't wait a few days either, maybe the next day or two. don't keep her waiting too long. Pixacom: What kind of guy bugs you? Lyn Ortiz: the one who is stuck on himself, or feels tha he has to impress me. Just be yourself. Pixacom: What's the worst place to meet a guy? Lyn Ortiz: A bar or club. Pixacom: On a date... What does the person have to do to make it perfect for you? Lyn Ortiz: Make me laugh. Pixacom: If we snuck into your bedroom, what could we find you sleeping in?
