Pixacom: Where were you born, and how was life growing up?
Karen: I was born in rural Michigan. Life growing up seemed fun, but now when I look back at it I think, “how could that possibly have been fun?”
Karen: I guess we made our own fun.
Pixacom: What nationality are you?
Karen: American, but my heritage is French and Irish.
Pixacom: What would the average person say about you?
Karen: Most people would say I’m really sweet, but if someone gets on my bad side, I tend to be quick with my tongue and merciless. I’m sometimes shy and nerdy.
Pixacom: What kind of stuff did you get into after high school?
Karen: Cosmetology school. I enjoyed it, but it was a short-term thing.
Pixacom: How did you get into modeling?
Karen: One of my hairstylist-friends asked me to be a hair and make-up model for her a few years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Pixacom: How long have you been modeling?
Karen: Two years consistently.
Pixacom: How did you feel being in front of the camera for the first time?
Karen: I enjoyed it, but it took some getting used to.
Pixacom: How did you feel walking into your photoshoot?
Karen: A little intimidated at first. I want to be great at everything I do right from the start, so it was a lil scary.
Pixacom: So would you say you are comfortable now?
Karen: Yes, most of the time. Sometimes it takes me some time to get warmed up, but once I’ve worked with someone, I’m good to go.
Pixacom: Are you comfortable with your body?
Karen: Yes. It’s the only one I have, so I better be comfortable with it.
Pixacom: Are you enhanced?
Karen: All-natural.
Pixacom: What’s the best thing about modeling?
Karen: It’s exciting to have the spotlight on you and it’s a great feeling when you see the final results…like, “wow, that’s me!”
Pixacom: What do you do to set yourself apart from other models?
Karen: Be myself. That’s the best thing anyone can do.
Pixacom: Where do you hope your modeling will take you?
Karen: I really would like to get published in one of the popular men’s magazines, like Maxim or FHM.
Pixacom: What has been the highlight of your modeling career?
Karen: Meeting such cool, talented people and traveling.
Pixacom: Where can we find you on a typical weekend, if you aren’t doing a photoshoot?
Karen: At the beach, reading a book, or watching a movie.
Pixacom: What do you want to do outside of modeling?
Karen: Teach.
Pixacom: Do you travel much?
Karen: Sometimes.
Pixacom: Do you like all the traveling?
Karen: I enjoy it as long as I get a break in between trips. I don’t know anyone who enjoys living out of a suitcase.
Pixacom: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
Karen: S. Korea, Japan, or Thailand
Pixacom: Do you have a favorite Car?
Karen: This is always changing, but for the moment, the Lexus LS460. I heard this thing can parallel park itself! That’s what I need. I hate parallel parking. I mean, I learned to drive on country dirt roads, so it’s challenging for me.
Pixacom: Do you have a favorite drink when at clubs or bars?
Karen: Vodka Tonic or a Pomegranate Martini
Pixacom: How about a favorite food to go along with the drink?
Karen: Fondue is so much fun!
Pixacom: What kind of music are you listening to these days?
Karen: I love the Killers. I also listen to some techno, R & B, and hip-hop.
Pixacom: Tell us something you got away with?
Karen: Hitting a person on a bicycle with my car. (FYI not a hit n run though).
Pixacom: Are you single now?
Karen: Nope. Taken.
Pixacom: Tell us about the person your with today?
Karen: I’m very lucky. That’s all I need to say.
Pixacom: What kind of guy bugs you?
Karen: Uh, stalkers?
Pixacom: What’s the worst place to meet a guy?
Karen: At a bar.
Pixacom: On a date… What does the person have to do to make it perfect for you?
Karen: Make me dinner, know my favorite things, and give me a nice, long massage.
Pixacom: If we snuck into your bedroom, what could we find you sleeping in?
Karen: A tank top and boy shorts. In the nude, if it’s hot.

Karen: Yes, I’m shooting for the stars.
