Pixacom: How long have you been doing photography?
Ronnie Werner: About 10 years - NOTE: I do not consider myself a photographer, I use photography to draw from but I am by no means a professional photographer. I have a ton of respect for good photography.
Pixacom: Did you take any photography classes?
Ronnie Werner: no
Pixacom: How did you get started photographing beautiful women?
Ronnie Werner: I have drawn women since I was a teenager and discovered my dad's Playboys.
Pixacom: How did you feel with your first model shoot?
Ronnie Werner: Nervous!
Pixacom: Would you say you are pretty comfortable now?
Ronnie Werner: Absolutely.
Pixacom: Where would you say you get your inspiration from?
Ronnie Werner: Vintage Pin up art, Vargas, Petty, Elvgren and some of the more current artists like Adam Hughes, Olivia and Ragnar. As far as photographers I love winkytiki, Avedon, Arbus, and many others.
Pixacom: What would the average model say about your style of photography?
Ronnie Werner: primitive! but they love my art.
Pixacom: What type of camera equipment are you shooting with today?
Ronnie Werner: I use a Fuji finepix s6000fd. I love it. Its digital, quick and is very forgiving.
Pixacom: Is there any equipment you'd love to have?
Ronnie Werner: a rotating pedestal.
Pixacom: What are your opinions on digital vs. film?
Ronnie Werner: Digital is all I use.
Pixacom: Do you work with a modeling agency?
Ronnie Werner: No

Pixacom: What's the worst experience you've had working in model photography?
Ronnie Werner: Models flaking out, no shows or the model who showed up with her baby, looking nothing like her pics.
Pixacom: What's the best part about working in model photography?
Ronnie Werner: The models.
Pixacom: What's next for your portfolio?
Ronnie Werner: I am branching out into more fantasy/surreal Pin Ups. my goal was always to modernize the classic pin up, now I want to experiment.
Pixacom: Have you been requested to travel for your photography?
Ronnie Werner: Yes.
Pixacom: If you had the opportunity to shoot a celebrity actress who would that be and why?
Ronnie Werner: Kate Beckinsale but she would have to do nude.

Ronnie Werner:
Pixacom: Have you had any of your photography work published commercially?
Ronnie Werner: Pin Up art in Heavy Metal Magazine and the book Muse.

Pixacom: Where do you see your photography taking you 5 years from now?
Ronnie Werner: Hopefully a gig in a mens Magazine as the monthly pin up artist.
